71 people have been hospitalized and one child has died following an outbreak of anthrax in Western Siberia above the arctic circle. Scientists now believe that outbreak began when a massive heat wave melted away at layers of permafrost and exposed the bodies of anthrax-infected reindeer who died 75 years ago.
