Meet the Chapter Leader
Mohamed Raaidh is a highly motivated professional, who believes in the power of leading by examples. He is an adaptable and transformational leader with an ability to work independently and developing opportunities that further establish organizational goals.
Raaidh was the former Managing Director of the Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation (MITDC), a Maldivian government state-owned enterprise, mandated for the development of local tourism & tourism devirilisation. During his 5 years (2018 to 2023) tenure as the Managing Director, Raaidh has successfully introduced sail tourism and cultural tourism into the Maldives, through the very first sail rally of the Maldives – Savaadheeththa Dhathuru.
He hold a Bachelors of Law from Malaysia and higher studies in Business Management & Administration. He is a receipant of a PG Diploma scholarship to study Climate Friendly Travel through SUNx Malta in collaboration with ITS Malta.

Dr. Ori is a passionate marine biologist and certified PADI diving instructor originally from Italy, now residing in the Maldives. With a PhD in Life and Biomolecular Sciences, Dr. Ori is deeply committed to the preservation of marine ecosystems, specializing in coral reef restoration and sea turtle conservation. Currently, Dr. Ori is actively involved in several high-impact conservation projects aimed at safeguarding the region’s unique marine biodiversity. In addition to research and fieldwork, Dr. Ori plays a key role in promoting sustainability initiatives at Anantara Maldives, ensuring that environmental responsibility is at the heart of operations. With a strong belief in the power of education and collaboration, Dr. Ori is dedicated to raising awareness and creating lasting change in marine conservation.
