Meet the Chapter Leaders
I am an ardent Aviation & Tourism Professional, Sustainability enthusiast, and entrepreneur. I hold a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management (BSc) from Kenyatta University in Nairobi; a joint European Master in Tourism Management (MSc) from University of Southern Denmark, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and University of Girona (Spain); a Climate Friendly Travel Diploma offered by SUNx Malta at the Institute of Tourism Studies (Malta); and I completed the Climate Governance, Diplomacy And Negotiations Leadership Program facilitated by African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES AFRICA).
I am currently working part-time with SUNx Malta to build CFT Chapters in LDCs, SIDS, and LDC+ countries, which are the most vulnerable to climate change. The overall objective is to advance a CFT culture at the grassroots level and work towards a green future for the tourism sector and the millions of livelihoods that depend on it.
