Meet the Chapter Leader 

 
Henrietta Andoh
Henrietta AndohGhana
Henrietta Andoh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management and a master’s in Climate Change. She is passionate about contributing to SDGs Two (Zero Hunger) and Thirteen (Climate Action) in Ghana and the world at large. Her passion for nature led her to explore the tourism sector and her current participation in the Climate Friendly Tavel Diploma Program where she hopes to awaken the consciousness of Ghanaians to the importance of making the tourism sector climate friendly. She currently volunteers with a number of NGOs and seeks to contribute her quota to the building of a resilient planet for future generations.
Peter Martin
Peter MartinGhana
A dynamic climate change specialist, communications professional, and passionate sustainability leader. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies (Journalism Option). Over the past 10 years, he has distinguished himself as a committed environmental activist, consistently championing climate resilience, sustainability, and community empowerment. He also serves as the Communications Director for Frontline for Climate Action and Green Dialogue Africa, where he leads strategic communication initiatives that amplify climate advocacy, influence policy dialogue, and mobilize public engagement on environmental sustainability. His commitment to youth development and grassroots impact is evident through his extensive volunteering work with the Ghana YMCA, where he has played a key role in driving climate awareness, education, and action among young people. He has also collaborated with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, leading climate education and advocacy initiatives aimed at influencing local policy directions and strengthening urban environmental governance. He was selected in 2025 as a recipient of the Climate Friendly Travel (CFT) Diploma Scholarship, awarded by SUNx Malta in partnership with the Institute of Tourism Studies, to study sustainable tourism and climate resilience. His work is deeply rooted in supporting vulnerable coastal communities, where he focuses on addressing the impacts of sea-level rise and climate vulnerability. His approach combines community engagement, youth mobilization, public education, and policy advocacy to drive practical and scalable climate solutions. His passion in sustainable tourism cannot be underestimated. As Ghana’s CFT Chapter leader, he is eager to lead the chapter to achieving its objectives and goals in Ghana.
